In 2024, the Holy Spirit placed a vision on Kate Wilcox’s heart for the women who were attending and leading at Realife Church: to create a devotional book written by the women of our church family. As we read through each devotional, we were moved with awe and gratitude. The wisdom, vulnerability, and insight shared by the Women of Realife truly shine—each author’s unique personality and walk with Jesus is beautifully reflected in her writing. We are humbled that God chose us to shepherd the women who were part of Realife Church during that season.
As we prayed about how this book should be written, the Holy Spirit gave us three simple but powerful guidelines:
Seek God first—each woman was to pray and ask the Lord what He wanted her to share.
Stay rooted in Scripture—every devotional needed to be Biblically sound.
Speak life—the writing should be uplifting and encouraging.
Every woman rose to the occasion with grace and boldness. One of the most special parts of this collection is the incredible range of voices—our authors span from their 20s to their 70s, each offering a distinct perspective shaped by her season of life.
We are deeply proud of the women who contributed to this book, and we cannot wait for you to get to know them through their words. Our prayer is that as you read, you are encouraged, strengthened, and drawn closer to Jesus—and that your relationships with Him and with others flourish more and more.
